Excellent service: attentive and caring staff with detailed explanations in each dental appointment.

The dentist I had seen for a decade moved out of the city and I wondered how long I’d search for a replacement. I am very fortunate to have found a great new dentist in Dr. Mark Rogers on the first try. I was used to getting x rays but at Young Dental SF they also take photos that can be viewed on a monitor in real time (and are easier to comprehend than looking at x-rays). I appreciated looking at my teeth onscreen with Dr. Rogers and having him explain the areas of concern, and also was grateful that he suggested a “wait and watch” approach. Beside his professional competence he was very personable and easy to communicate with. The hygenist Sidney that did my cleaning was very gentle and efficient and provided some good coaching tips for more efficient flossing techniques. I’m glad to have found another dentist where I don’t mind going in for cleanings. (Bonus points for the welcoming atmosphere of the front office with the beautiful live plants and modern wood accents.)

I finally followed through on my resolution to see a dentist after multiple years of avoidance due to dental phobia/anxiety. I am SO glad that I chose Young Dental – from start to finish they made the process as stress-free as possible. From the reception desk, to the hygienist to the doctor, I felt safe in their hands. They kept me informed about everything they were doing and checked in periodically to make sure I was still doing ok. And best of all, they didn’t make me feel ashamed or guilty about how long I had gone without a checkup. Highly, highly recommended!
